I'm not going to even bother putting this into context. The chat proves my point well enough.

I just got a 14 day ban from Garbage RIOT for this.

RIOT is so fail. As are the bad kids that reported me for this, calling me toxic. Lol. It amazes me how trash people are these days. Don't even talk crap to anyone and they try to label it "toxic". Pathetic carebears don't even know what toxic is.

Keep in mind, this is the first offense I've had on this account in years.

Hey OP, for your information if I were driving for 10 years with a flawless record and then suddenly decided to go 90 miles and hour in a 60 and got pulled over, I'm still getting a reckless driving ticket. Good behavior isn't an excuse to be an asshole ^^

but your not getting your car taken away from you are you? the punishment for reckless endangerment varies depending on how dangerous you were interpreted to be in the eyes of the law, riots system has no sense of empathy or interpretation, it ignores circumstance and cares not for "context", it is unable to judge properly and is therefore a failure of a system. Its punishments are brutally severe for small crimes.

They dont put you in jail for acts of petty larceny unless you have been punished for it multiple times already, and even then the time is short. in league the only punishment greater than a 14 day suspension is a permanent ban.

Edit: particularly on your example by context im saying "if your speeding because your wife is about to give birth" the law would normally be understanding. If you were simply to tell someone that you arrested a guy(or gave him a ticket) who was speeding and risking the lives of everyone on the road, of course everyone would call him an "asshole" zero context, and you think the reason dosent matter. but "context" is everything, and in chat logs that has only 1 person talking and no timestamps, we dont have the right to judge because we are not given any context to what is being talked about. It does matter.

So you say context means everything in this case, but does it take away the things you've said?

If you're saying "muted and reported kiddo" to a teammate, did you know that 3 other people on your team are putting up with your childish insistence on arguing? You could simply ignore the person and report them after the game (as they no doubt deserve) but instead you're adding your own "witty" banter to the chat, making the game even more miserable for the 3 possibly innocent bystanders who are unfortunate enough to be on your team. How's that for context?

And if you're unfortunate enough to be in a game where all 4 of your teammates are flaming you, then wouldn't you expect them to report you after the game? So really it would be extremely sensible on your part to do nothing wrong so that their report held zero merit. If you're in a pool of sharks, it's probably not a good idea to wave bloody meat around in their face. Welcome to the real world, where making a stupid decision has consequences even when you're being wronged.

telling someone that you are muting them can be interpreted any number of ways, look at it this way, this guy has been harassing you for the past 6 mins, up untill now you have said nothing to to him, every time you die he says something, you realize that now he is playing poorly as well, constantly typing to you. you want to win, you "Need" him to do better, this is a team game and everyone matter to an extent.

telling him your muting him can have 2 effects 1, he gets even more pissed off, or 2, he realized hes talking to no-one, and decided to shut up and focus, yes, telling him can get you to win, your response depends on the type of person you are, his response depends on the type of person he is, and you are making decisions based on what you feel is going to give you the better chance of victory, if i want you to do something, its because i know if you do it, we have a chance of winning, despite if what i think is true or not, it is my thought process and my belief. who are you to tell me that im wrong when neither of us know the outcome?

Yes, context is everything, understanding why a person does what he does is everything, maybe he didnt have to tell him he is reporting him, maybe he said it because the other guy said hes reporting him? maybe he didnt have to call him kiddo, maybe the other guy called him a kid first and hes just making a retort, i dont know. But is saying those things so outrageously toxic that he needs to be banned?

Have you not herd worse? do you put what hes saying on an equal pedestal as someone telling people to kill themselves, or people wishing death, disease and famine on others? is he the same as a blatant racist?

He made the game worse for everyone? so i can report you if you start talking to someone in chat about the last episode of game of thrones? becuse spoilers? because irrelevant? and you deserve 14 days right?

there is a mute option for people who "annoy" you, getting annoyed at another player is not a reason to report them, and not a reason for them to get banned.

If your in a pool of sharks it dosent matter if you have bloody meat or not, welcome to the real world where some sharks might just attack and kill you because your in their territory, in the real world we dont know the answers and outcomes of every situation as we step into them. A stupid decision isnt a stupid decision until you find out that it yeilds consequences, and even then it isnt a stupid decision until the consequences are proven to be just, and that is why we fight, and complain, and struggle againt things we consider oppression on a daily basis.

Imagine a world where you tell a woman, "if getting raped, dont fight it, dont struggle" because you could make it worse. accept your fate, let it happen, and then contact the proper authorities with evidence. Every living creature will fight against negativity, naturally. If someone is killing you, you will in turn try to kill them to defend yourself, this, is life, that is reality for you, you get attacked, you attack back, saying im in the wrong for it makes you a hypocrite.

You need to see a psychologist. You have some serious mentality issues, and they're kind of scary. I hope someone who knows you reads this and takes the appropriate measures, because there's a chance this kid will hurt somebody in the future.

While I can't say what level of punishment you should get based off a single game, what you said in the example is worthy of something. Riot can see your account's entire chat log history. And clearly if you are still getting 2 week bans after getting previous accounts perma'ed, it's clear you haven't learned anything.

I'm not sure if you get it, but "This is how it's always been" doesn't hold up in real life, and Riot is saying that it's not an acceptable excuse now.

Your posts here (where you have time to think about what you say before clicking post) makes me wonder how bad the rest of your chat logs are.

I don't think there's an actual Reform card right now. Just the chat logs added to the email, so copy/paste is the only method atm.

And this is why I'm afraid to chat in this game. I see nothing wrong with this chat log, just talking straight.

If you just take it and don't speek, nothing will ever get better. But apparently that's what is expected now? Docile little sheep.

Admittedly he is a bit rough, but Riot has repeatedly claimed that swearing is NOT against any rules.

If anything his comments here barely cross the line.

I really don't see how it's hard to tell what's okay and not okay to say. Cursing isn't terrible, showing frustration isn't either, but there's a lot of really unnecessary and bad stuff in the above chat logs.

The thing that likely nailed him in this situation was that he constantly proclaims that he's muting and/or reporting people. Riot has already stated that they give black marks for this. It's not necessary to tell people you're doing these things, it only fans the flame and makes the game more toxic for the people who aren't interested in your little squabble.

Honestly if you take out every "muted kid" and "reported/report this guy" from the above chat logs, you wouldn't see a ban for this. Still, his insistence on calling other people toxic and bad would possibly net him a chat restriction, but nothing nearly as serious as a 14 day suspension.

The one thing I see though, is in order to be banned 14 days you've generally been banned before, weather or not you learned from these past bands Is beyond me, but you don't get banned simply from 1 game its a good possibility that by telling people your report them they will make sure to report you back, regardless if you were joking or not it all adds up into a giant cloud of reports and to the servers knowledge/ run of words you would use in game mute report toxic "key words" it would declair you a problem. but its not the end of the world. you still got 1 last chance because after 14 days the next is permanent so probably lay low play ai's etc until you lower your toxicity levels or it could end up worse. what really suprises me though is that you havn't even discovered how bad solo Q is yet ^^ and remember your anger can be reflected in real life i notice myself getting upset at times playing and held hostage in game because i generally play chess its a silent game and its all your fault if you lose best way to look at league as well Riven

Actually... as I said, this is the first time I've gotten in trouble on this account in years. There was no one day ban, or one week, even. Just straight to 14 days, and just for the one game.

14 days? no, not at all. i had a similar game to you but i admit that at parts i was toxic. just like you should. your teamates annoyed you for particular reasons you tried to adress it, i can tell they kept going and then you started to get "toxic"(negative, amped up, upset, whatever) after a while, this kind of behavior in my opinion is not an "Extreme" case of toxicity.

Did you deserve prolly a chat restriction for A few games? maybe, did you deserve to be banned for 14 days over this??? not at all. Similarities i see between this and my game is repeating that you are muting someone, simply using curse words, even if not directed at someone, saying your going to do your own thing.

Oh yes it's all Riot's fault you've gotte4n perma'd in the past on multiple accounts and it's all Riot's fault you keep getting banned right? I'm sure it's enver your behavior that causes this type of stuff at all. Just looking at your chat logs you're constantly negative and jerkish to your teammates. That's just 1 games chat log but in old TRibunal you'd have gotten a super majority punish for it. You've got no one to blame but yourself sicne if you can't control your ego you're getting perma'd yet again.

If we were to see the rest of your reform card or games there's probably more or even worse there and what might you have edited out there since you copy pasted it and not posted the actual link to Riot's reform card.
