So I am d3 at the moment and I have played with a two "famous" people. I have qued for ranked and was once put on the same teams PhantomL0rd and the other (just now) top lane against "Ulu" or a more common name for him "Boxbox". Both these times I played with these "famous" people I get extremely nervous for some reason... my upper half of my body starts shaking and more noticeably I just cannot think normally at all. It seems that when I go against " famous" people I just go on hardcore tilt and I play horrible... I play nothing like I play against randoms. Its horrible because our team was 21-11 20 minutes in and we lost because I was just playing like shit. (right after getting a quadra kill I die 5 times consecutively without getting a kill or assist due to being nervous) I couldn't think straight at all I could not play like I normally do. I really need help cause every time I play with these people I cause my team to lose the game cause I get nervous. SO stupid and annoying. It makes me mad cause no matter how much I tell myself not to get nervous and go on tilt I do. Advice on how to fix this? God I feel so bad cause the only reason my teammates lost that game was cause of me.

Silver 3 advice incoming.

No reason to be nervous. They are good players, but you got matched with them so riot thinks youre just as good. Even if they are on smurfs, just have confidence and don't worry about how you do. Just focus on regular gaming winning things.

Now, you may or may not listen to me, because I'm in silver still. But to be honest, the best thing that helps me get through my "nervous" games, I just have the mindset that "if I can think back on this game in a week, knowing that I lost, knowing that it's just a game, will it in any way affect my life?". Thinking that, helps me, at least, all the time! Hope this helped, and good luck!

The first step is trying to identify why you're nervous. Is it because you're in contact with famous people? Because you might be on stream? You can't address your issue until you figure out why you feel that way.

I believe there is an option which will hide summoner names above their champs. So don't look at their names in the loading screen or when you press tab and you won't be able to tell if your against someone famous or just another regular player. If you don't know your against someone famous then there's nothing to be nervous about. Hope that helps.
