can you appeal a punishment? (not a QQ thread)

i just wanna give some context to what happened. I went into ranked game and everything was good for a bit. i was caitlyn and in my team was an amumu and morg who were duo que. they got into an arguement with eachother, morg was supporting me and amumu bitterly started coming to my lane to intentionally feed. after about 6 deaths our team had given up. we knew we couldn't win, we didnt wanna waste our time. we let the enemy team push mid and win so we could get to out next game and hopefully not have a feeder. That amumu then reported us for "afk" when in reality, our team had given a pre-20 minute surrender since the other 4 all stopped.

i now have a "leaverbuster" matchmaking penalty, and would like to know if i can appeal it. if not l will deal with it, i just wanna know if there is a way to make sure people dont recieve penaltys for false reports. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Just play until 20 minutes. If you have four people just like run around and play hide and seek. Thats what I do when people are just feeding and yelling and its pre 20 minutes. (fyi the baron is the best place to hide)

now im interested in what the 10 min afk strategy is. also, i did click around to keep the inactivity bubble from showing.

Leaverbuster isn't something that can be appealed as far as I know.

Also, the report was not false. There's a reason why you can't surrender pre-20 minutes. You are supposed to play through until the game is over. The leavebuster was just.
