Partaking in League of Legends and why players claim to "Hate the game" ***ADVICE***
***WARNING~! -- THIS P0ST IS LENGTHY ***
Uhmm...okay, so this is my 1st time writing anything...like ever, on ANY forums, so please forgive me if any of my approaches, claims, terminologies are incorrect or even misunderstood....now, let's begin~!!!
I am NEoNLiolf, began LoL in season4/5 and ended in B5 and now S6 in B2/3. By these stats, I'm sure I've already lost the interest of about 60, maybe even 80% of the League community, but please, hear me out.
I am a
and
main -- they are my babies~! <3 I main them because I relate to them in many ways, and just to offer a few examples: For my
, anime (yes.....yes I love Naruto...geez) movies even other mmorpgs, etc, I ALWAYS played and rooted for the assassin, specifically, the Ninja. For my
, I grew up playing fighter games, such as Tekken, later on being well deep into UMvC3 (and the 2nd one as well) and Tatsunoko V Capcom.
Now, my point in even including any of this more personal information will be address a bit later on.
Partaking in League of Legends:
As in any video-game, "games" to be more general, there are objectives that rare to be addressed, respected and executed in order to win governed by rules on how to play any game -- League of Legends is of no exclusion to this fact.
-
To win, focus objectives -- take turrets, take buffs to keep from enemy team, and end game quickly. to do this: build efficiently and effectively, think before making a decision but when making a decision -- do it without hesitation, and die as minimally as possible.
-
To do that: learn to farm effectively, including holding and/or pushing minion waves by determining when the best time to do so, but also have map awareness, have self -control and self-awareness being sure to only go in to kill your enemy(mies) if and only if you can kill them. "Learn from your mistakes.." ~

There are many more specific rules and objectives in which will guide any one team towards seeing that "VICTORY" sign, and then the same could say about seeing tat "DEFEAT" sign -- yet no one game is a definite and sure game.
We all have our frustrations, confusions and faults, that of which over half of it we dare not blame ourselves for in the first place in which has so many players claim they "hate the game" or even leaving the game.
The issue with League of Legends, isn't the game itself nor Riot -- it's the players that play the game....okay...now, hear me out.
As a whole, our bitc-....ahem....our...complaints (as well as our praises) over the game will sway Riot to do some crazy things, but also rather reasonable things to make the game for better or worse.
We...are human beings.
That being said, playing this game, as any other game, will not immediately nor will it ever ensure that any one of us are to simply change our ways of thinking, behaving nor communicating.
We have to WANT to change to make anything happen, but more importantly -- that desire has to be mutual between any and ALL participants in any one game. Teams, for draft, blind and ranked, consist of 5 players per team, and from there, we have a choice:
play with pre-mades, i.e. players we know and/or trust, or play with complete strangers, in which we'd have to quickly and efficiently, even effectively adapt to one another's play-styles, champs pools/mains/choices, emotions, etc. to communicate, and work together to ensure the greatest chances of winning any game -- because no game is definite.
Yes, there are always those champs that are just naturally powerful per "meta" and/or season. Garen being able to build tank but still outputting
"T0NS 0F DAMAGE~!"

However, I do and forever will believe that those who understand the purpose of the game and how to win it as well as mass understanding and practice f the champs they choose to play, stresses such as "counters" or even "the meta" become a non-issue, non-existent even.
League, as a game itself, is a great one that I love to play very much -- it's one of my top 3-5 games to play overall if not my number one game and that's saying a lot. Most people would even say, "wow, get a life" or "gee, that's pretty sad..." (yeeah, I've had these lines said to me....got pretty heated, L0L) but~! -- At the end of the day it is a game.
Learning to be patient and communicative and cooperative with ourselves among other players, is what could make or break a game for any one player. Ranking up higher and higher, it's possible, achievable even -- but only difficult should we continue to put blame on others and be toxic, instead of focusing on one thing and one thing only:
Self-Improvement. "Embrace the Shadows~!" ~

These are thoughts, my thoughts of course I've had for a really...really longtime and perhaps I just really wanted to finally get them somewhere, share my thoughts and beliefs, but more than anything -- I needed to see, I desire to see, if and how many other players feel the same as well as perhaps....how many players I could have reading this and making the effort to put in significant thought as to what they really want with playing League of Legends: to rank high in tier? truly enjoy the game? advise and provide insight on a game many love to play? or perhaps, it's to try another approach on being an better player -- even a better person?
Whatever purpose that may be for anyone, hold your heads up high, choose and put forth true effort in who and what you believe in and hold dearest to you, and PRESS ONWARD SUMMONERS -- Thank you for reading my post~! <3 <3 <3
P.S. ....sigh...please RI0T.....I want my Championship Riven... #RivenMainProblems XDDD
