Do you guys think going 7-3 and 6-4 in your ranked placements games while carrying most games(had an overall 4kda) yet being placed in Bronze 5 in both is fair? I just don't feel like grinding all the way through bronze when I shouldn't have been placed there in the first place.

Season reset takes your last season mmr plat 5 with a good mmr for your Ranking would be around 1800. They add 1200(the 50% mark for ranked players) then divide by 2 Your new starting mmr is now 1500 which is around gold 5. Then you complete placement matches that sway your mmr up or down, then they place you in a Ranking one tier lower than your current mmr.
This gets people with low mmr out of high level games (boosters) and gives people in low bronze a better chance at getting silver or higher. So plats end in silver, diamond end up gold, challenger end up plat.
