Y is poppy so unpopular? Her passive makes her tanky, her q deals a lot of dmg, her w can help escape or engage fights and it gives her bonus armour n dmg, her e stuns if next to terrain... And can also be used to protect ally's. Her ult is trynds ult, for longer in team fights if focuse on a support, and it helps deal a lot of dmg against one champion. So y is she so unpopular... Its not that she's bad, her late game is amazing and all. But her early game is one of the worst in the game and unless your a godly Poppy player your not going to reach that state often.
She has like 0 winning matchups toplane, her jungling isn't super good. And its these reasons that when someone does pick Poppy, they are either trolling. Or they mean buisness.
The main reason she is kept weak is because of her ult. If she is ever in a good spot, its toxic to the game since her ult is the definition of broken by design.
He early game is garbage. I used to play her jungle but with the new jungle it's kind of rough. After 6 she's pure stupidity. Riot will with out question, nerf her to the ground when she becomes SLIGHTLY popular then rework her. Honestly, playing against her feel likes playing DOTA 2. She pops her ultimate and there is 0 counter play.
People are just lemmings to playing whatever appears in pro play.
