Account Banned

So, i've been gone from LOL for a little while due to some console games dropping and vacationing. I log on last month and it told me that my account was banned. i emailed support to see what was going on and they said they couldn't tell me at first. After a couple emails they told me "Your account has been permanently suspended following the use of scripts, hacks, exploits or unauthorized third-party programs in League of Legends.".

I have been playing lol for a couple years now and have never used and of these things they listed, nor have i ever let anyone else play my account. My question is this is it possible that someone could have gotten access to my account or is this a mistake on their end? Has this ever happen to anyone else? I haven't really been wanting to play league but to have my account banned for no reason after having this account for so long kinda pisses me off.

Usually these bans are pretty accurite. You cant honestly say you didnt bot or use scripts?

ive never used a bot or scripts 90% of my games are normals with co-workers. i really don't see the point in cheating in a MOBA. LIke i said i took a break came back account was banned.

I mean anyone can come to the board and claim they didnt do anything, yet someone at Riot who looked into your account saw that you were botting in some way. Also remember that it doesnt have to you be using the program. Your coworker, or someone you queue with frequently could have done it and if the system saw you were continuously playing with them it would think that you knew they were doing it and was ok with it because you kept playing with them.

If that wasnt the case, then more than likely your account was hacked in some way.
