Mac Client done?

I started playing this game on the Mac client and thought it was decent... until i tried the Windows client.

Simply, the Mac client is piss-poor when compared to the Windows client. Everything feels like its moving in sludge or underwater whereas, on the same machine in Bootcamp, the Windows client is lightning quick and responsive.

The question is this: Is the mac client 'done', 'good enough' or is there more work going on with it?

I would love to not have to boot in to Windows to play.

Thanks.

I have always played on my Mac, however when I go to the guys' house I use one of their pcs. I personally prefer playing on my Mac because I am used to it (I think the mouse acceleration differs...)

I have always had an issue lagging upon death however, and I hear other Mac users also experience this. The new SR has not been running smoothly for me so far, it does feel rather sluggish, as if I'm moving in slowmo sometimes. Also I have FPS drops if I am streaming + skype + in game large team fight - my fps NEVER dropped previously with the old map.

Basically, bump, it still needs work / TLC pls

And then you go into a game and laugh at the triple fps you get on the mac side. At least, I do.

I dont have the lag of death, nor do I get higher FPS - I VSUNC lock it at 60FPS and both Mac and Windows look perfectly fine.

The mouse input is slow on MAC, the targeting reticle is oddly large, the dragging/moving of items from one slot to another seems slow and doesnt work as well, Character response from when I click to when the character moves on screen is slower on mac... its just a far more sluggish, unresponsive client than the Windows client on the same hardware with the saem gfx settings.

I just hope they are not done with the Mac client... Yes, it works but it is nowhere near as clean, smooth or 'snappy' as the windows client.
