LeaverBuster doesn't make a lot of sense. Let's help Riot fix it.

LeaverBuster is a great idea in theory: punish players who ruin games for 9 other people. Honestly, this is a great idea. I don't disagree. However, giving people incremental time-penalties doesn't make sense at all. If the player has an abnormally high chance of having something come up or forgetting about something they have to do, it really doesn't make a lot of sense to make the time it takes to play a game of league take longerfor them, they're now even more likely to leave a game. And the vicious cycle continues. Furthermore, if someone is an older account, and leaves a game for the first time in a month, their previous afk should have decayed back down to 5 minutes. Increasing forever just doesn't make sense.

I think there should be a way to punish leavers. Maybe an IP reduction for 5 games would be a cool idea to experiment with. However, it should decay, and shouldn't produce even more leavers. I would really like community input on this, and a commitment from riot that they will work to change this. As it stands, this system just makes the afking worse.
