While playing a game today, I encountered a toxic that blamed everything on the jungler and sat at base for 10 min doing nothing. He was just an awful player and everyone on my team reported him. The thing is, since we all reported him he reported us back and a verbal abuse warning popped up for me. This just made me feel very bad since I feel like its telling me i'm a toxic player. Could Riot review the report before giving a player the warning? This just sorta ruined my whole day :'( .

So here's the deal with those warnings:

They aren't issued for single reported games. They represent a "spike" in reports against you - an abnormally high amount of reported games over a relatively short period. The specific amount needed to qualify as a "spike" depends heavily on how often you're reported on average.
They aren't directly tied to any other system. The warnings don't indicate that you're close to a punishment, or that you even need to be worried about a punishment. They also don't indicate the opposite - they're completely neutral on that front.
They are entirely automated, and based purely on the reports you receive, rather than the content of those reports. The intention, as a whole, is to help players who may be tilting to recognize that, and help them get back to their normal behavior patterns.

Unfortunately they're automated messages and if u get too many of them, it'll chat restrict you. No one actually looks at ur chats :/

there is no way riot can review the reports. there are millions of them each day.

Its just awful because anyone can report you and you can get chat restricted and get these awful messages :(.

got another one today after playing my 1st game with another toxic top laner. All i said in it was lol and GG :/. Team was trash talking back tho so i guess he might have reported everyone. How many of these pop up before getting chat restricted? (Average) item 3070
