Tribunal 2 Week Ban
Hi, I recently got banned for two weeks. I was sent a "reform card" which contained my latest game which was deemed toxic. By what means was it deemed toxic? Not sure, but I know for sure it wasn't reviewed by a human because I was banned less than 5 minutes the game ended. Also keeping in mind that the Tribunal is down, I find it hard to believe that this was looked at by a human at all. Prior to this I got a small chat restriction that again, I believe was not viewed by any intelligent life form. I made a ticket regarding this issue and have no gotten any response from a human being. I'm not sure if you guys have lack of funding but it would be nice to know that when I get an automatic 2 week ban (not the typical escalating 1 day 3 day 1 week 2 week) at least it was seen by a human and deemed toxic. Personally, I believe that this new "system" is unjust and should be suspended until a better system is put in place. I have no idea how literally every punishment is judged by a computer and no one finds this wrong.
Also, as a small suggestion, why is there no option to mute oneself? Why can't we make it so that we cannot talk? Why do you not have a permanent mute option as opposed to a permanent ban? At the end of the day 99% of what needs to be done can be communicated through smartpings now anyways. Instead of just banning players that you don't like (though I don't agree with the common philosophy of "If you're a jerk get banned", I understand your point of view(A*)) why don't you offer alternate solutions such as permanent chat restrictions and even less than 3/5 messages starting and 1 message per 4 mins? There are many options that are still yet to be explored that may help with REFORM over SUSPENSION. And as I have noticed, you guys emphasize reform.
Also I don't know why the quality of the tribunal has been declining as updates progress. 2 Years ago every case was at least viewed by a number of kids who probably have unfit judgement anyways (but better than now) and the bans were always 1,3,days - 1,2 weeks - perma.
2 years later no punishments including chat restrictions and "tribunal" bans are viewed by humans (pretty outstanding evidence suggesting this) and it automatically skips to 2 week ban. Nice!
A* - I understand It's easier to target the obvious offender (verbally abusive) but why don't you try for once in your lives to ban trolls/afks/intent feeders? As mentioned numerous times "very few players are banned for intentionally feeding" yet I happen to get so many in my games. And i don't mean going into lane and coming out 0-3. I mean people who legitimately don't care, give up, and stand in front of the enemy and die in ranked play. I totally get it, it's easier to prove someone's verbally abusive over someone is an intentional feeder but what's the point of giving someone nicotine patches if the reason they smoke is depression? I rarely find people who rage and curse for the heck of it, I can wager 99/100 times it's onset by something his or her team does and sometimes it can be justifiable but I guess it's a matter of opinion. You guys think that being a bit harsh is never okay.
P.S. I know this is not the tribunal inquiry section. I'm not familiar with the forums and I could not find the "tribunal inquiries" section.
Also, please don't bother responding if all you're going to say is "good toxic people deserve bans!" "I'm sure you were actually toxic!" as that's not even what I'm talking about and if I have the decency to provide a genuine question you should not be a hypocrite about your jerk theory and at least show the same decency by responding with a genuine answer. -- Thanks to whoever can move this to right section. Again, apologies, sorry, I'm new,
