Content Transfer (Judgement Kayle)
Well, community hear me out.
Having contacted Riot about this before I originally thought there was no way to accomplish a skin transfer but after searching the forums apparently there used to be a way through getting a forum with over 2k upvotes. This method was removed a long time ago and Hippalus said he would instead institute a new way of doing this at some point as stated here http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=2909986&page=2 Unfortunately, Riot (as far as I know) has never done anything about it after.
Now normally if this were just a normal skin I would let this go but it's not. The skin I want transferred to my main account is the Judgement Kayle skin I have on my smurf. Yes, you heard that right. My Judgement Kayle skin is on my smurf and here's why.
Though not originally my smurf, I started playing League of Legends when it first came out on the actual first account in October of 2009. I was a kid in high school and I LOVED this game. I believe I started out just using whichever characters were free, gravitating toward Twisted Fate and Annie a bit, before I bought Kayle from the store. And my Gosh was it a great buy. I LOVED taking her mid lane and building her AD as a new kid in Season 1 that had no idea what he was doing. Best part was that it worked. And I played tons of games of Kayle for about a solid four months when I was able to. Unfortunately, something began to happen with my latency and our internet provider wasn't very good at this time. League also shot up in popularity and became near unbearable to play with ping spikes. So, sadly, I had to give it up because as a high schooler with no income, living in a rural town on the east coast, I had no say in our internet.
About Season 4 (and I know it was season 4 because it was the last season for the spirit items (elder lizard, ancient golem, spectral wraith)) our internet changed again because my father needed faster internet for his work as he had an enormous clientele base, thus the internet was upgraded and we obtained leagueable bandwidth. And back to league I came. Unfortunately, as a dumb kid, when I attempted to log back into my old account I couldn't. I don't remember why but no matter what I did I couldn't access it. Thinking it having been lost or deleted for being inactive, I simply made a new account (my main) and played on there. In this time I had gained a new email that I primarily used over my old one which is why I never recieved the "already has an account" memo for the old email. When college came around (2014) my brother and a few friends got into the game and I wanted to be able to play with them. I figured being on my lv 30 account would really ruin their early game learning experience so I attempted to make a smurf. And when I put in my old email in order to make it I saw that there was an account on it. Naturally, I recovered my password and logged back in to find everything just as I had left it, albeit, with a new Kayle skin I had never seen before. When I looked it up I realized how badly I wanted this as my main Kayle skin but I had already sunk so much money into my main account that I didn't see a point in putting all that work into my old one just to obtain one skin and rebuy everything I had.
Pretty down trodden, I asked riot about it twice and was denied both times. I just want this skin. I honestly don't even care if they completely erase the old account from their servers after the transfer or anything of that nature, I just really really want to be able to use this skin. For heaven's sake, just imagine having Golden Alistar or UFO Corki on an account you forgot about and then having a main account you dumped $200+ into (on a technically free game mind you) only to find the old account afterward.
So community I'm turning to you. I do own both accounts, I do have the skin, and I just want something done here. Even if nothing comes of this, I just have to try because this skin is too valuable to me to simply just disregard. I know the skin may not be all that rare and I know that I'm one guy out of millions who plays this game but as someone who basically started on Kayle it's far more so a sentimental thing to me as it is a time and money issue.
