Why will riot gut champions?

They gutted azir, corki, and kalista. Maybe even more champs. I used to be an azir main until they gutted him. Now i finally found my new main, camille, and i feel like they might gut her too and just make her shit. Im so afraid of that happening. Any thoughts?
