According to Riot, duo queuing with someone who is elo boosting while having full knowledge that they are, in fact, elo boosting, is not punishable. Why is this so? If elo boosting is as bad as Riot makes it out to be (and I do agree with them that elo boosting is a horrible thing that should be severely punished), then why is it fine to duo queue with someone who is elo boosting? It doesn't make sense.
Mostly because the one duo queueing with the booster still has to "pull his own weight." It isn't like traditional boosting where someone pays a booster to play on their acount and they effectivly "buy" a diamond ranking. The person who's duo queueing still has to play the game and put effort into winning each match. It might be much easier to do than playing on their own but they are still limited on how high they can go based on the upper limit of their skill.
That was just a copy and paste message. I think it's a program that notices the worlds "elo boosting" and "duo" and sends that out.
