One Thousand Normal Wins Prize?

I was recently lurking on Reddit the other night, and a conversation popped up saying that you could play with a Rioter on your thousandth normal win. I was taken aback at the thought that I had missed my opportunity to feed alongside an actual Rioter as my wins now pass a thousand by at least three hundred games.

Do I need to hit the two thousand win mark in order to have this opportunity once again, or may I turn in my golden ticket and get to play with a Rioter now despite being at a random amount of wins?

What do you guys think of normal games? I play for fun really, I hit up ranked every so often when I'm hyped up, other than that I never have been too psyched to play because it's a team game that tracks solo effort which doesn't pump me up so much when others fates are riding on my shoulders.

It'd be cool to have a reward for normal games after a while, I'm at 1325 normal wins (like a 51% win ratio) and despite being 2k games deep into League it hasn't shown much love.

Should norms have rewards as well in the long run?
