Diana Smart Cast Regular versus PBE

I've noticed in the last game I played as Diana (Lunar Goddess if that means anything) that I haven't been able to hold down Q while using smart cast on the PBE servers, but a couple weeks ago when I last played Diana on regular League, I could. When I say holding down I mean; have smart cast on, hold down Q, and be able to see the ability as you hold it to be able to aim better when need be. If you have any clue on to what I'm talking about any have an answer or even relate to this issue, then please give this post some attention. Thank you!
