Win Streaks / Loss Streaks
Hello everyone, I would first like to start out by stating that I am a gold, Elise jungle main. I have mained her for about 2 years and continue to climb with her. However for whatever reason there are times that i will get on and do nothing but win for 2 to 3 days until i lose 2 or 3 games in a row, then get off for the night. Now usually that works and I start winning again the next day, whether it be a 50 percent win-rate or 70 percent or 100 percent win-rate the next day. Yet there are periods that i will start going on losing streaks for 3 days, 4 days, even 5, and during that period if i get on and lose 1 game i get off and realize its not over.
When this happens i have to stop playing for at minimum 4 days at a time before i play again, otherwise I just continue to lose. During these games my team is always raging at each other, lanes are feeding, nobody is warding, and they refuse to group, Now there is always something I could have done better but games like these make win conditions extremely hard.
The bottom line of this thread being, my confusion as to why this happens, why is it that there are times I do nothing but win and other times I will do nothing but lose and have to stop playing for 4 days to a week at a time for it to stop, and get a team that works well together. Sometimes I think it may just be me on tilt but I don't feel like I'm on tilt. I have thought it over many times and cannot figure it out.
Just recently I climbed from Gold 5 to Gold 3 and had to stop playing for awhile because I hit a loss streak, and when I got back on I went on a win streak from Gold 3 to Gold 1 92 LP and I have now hit yet another loss streak, this time it being 7 losses over the span of 4 days, so I again have to stop playing for a week and hope I don't get demoted when I get back on. Does anybody have an answer as to why this happens, or tips for me that will prevent this from happening and help win under these harsh win condition games.
