Gold Players be like they all up in here

I recently climbed to Gold all the way from Bronze. Won my first 4 games and then came the downward spiral. I started to get matched with players who were acting like all pro and would stick with a pick even though they knew they were going to have a hard time in lane with the champ (e.g opposition player already picked Darius as FP and this guy insta picks yasuo as our 3rd pick and wants to go top). This is just the start of things.

My question to Gold and Gold++ players is this: WHY DO GOLD PLAYERS ALL FEEL LIKE THEY ARE THE BOMB DIGGITY WHEN CLEARLY THEY ARE NOT? Anyone else been having this issue? How do you get out of Gold when you keep losing games at the team lobby?
