Oceania tribunal.

Hello, I'm making this thread because i would love to see Oceania improve. People knowing there isn't a tribunal just makes the Community in Oceania just horrible. Especially in lower elo they just couldn't careless if they win or loose. As for the afkers it should be made that we don't loose full lp when we have an afker in our team and now i understand why its implemented because if you duo q your team looks like there going to loose one of the duo leaves the other doesn't loose much lp. I understand that but ive had 2 people leaves and loose 20 lp. that should change we should not loose lp with 2 or more afkers. As well as I've stated in a recent post we should be gaining a lot more lp if we win a 3v5 IMO.

As for leaver buster it needs an upgrade bad. someone that leaves a game half way should be getting more then a 5 minute ban if they even get banned at all. From as far as i no you get penalized from leaving a game while picking characters but not within the game and im pretty sure 99.99% of lol players would agree they would rather someone leave the game before it starts rather then in game.

As for trolls. yes we all get trolls in game its natural to see 1 or 2 there and then. BUT! for Oceania its natural in 10 games to have 1 or 2 because knowing there is nothing going to happen to there account why not. and especially in lower elo. i could name 5 players that have stopped player this game because as soon as they hit ranked games they either had to deal with A:Verbal abuse. B:Trolls. C:afkers. People all over the world say they cannot get out of Bronze/silver because of trolls, Hmm come to Oceania and come see the Crap we have to deal with.

Not sure why the server was implemented in the first place without a proper system set up inc leaver buster / a tribunal. Not sure what reasons are why we don't have one i love the game not saying the game is bad whatsoever or else i wouldn't be writing all of this, id like to see an improvement and if its you dont have workers down here in Oceania lol id work for riot any day of the week would be a dream job. Riot if i could get a reply it would be an honor, That you guys have even taken notice to what i have written.

Apologize about my English. Thank you Toounique

While I think you have some good ideas, I fear the result of their implementation would be barely noticeable. I do agree that the League of Legends community can be toxic at times; however the problem cannot be resolved with the presence of a tribunal system or altered LP mechanics.

To be stark, there is no solution. Human interactions occur on the basis of deeply ground beliefs and the person's tendency to conform to conventions. In the case of electronic communications via the internet, it is the lack of conformation to social politeness which creates toxic games. This is the main root of the problem and I don't think it can be resolved any time soon. For the most part, the internet is a place of anarchy, where just about anything goes. This nature of League of Legends is what renders the Tribunal System somewhat useless.

Your mention of trolls has brought to my attention a misconstrued idea. The informal definition of trolling has been skewed over time, to the point where I think it no longer resembles what a troll truly is. Allow me to explain: a person is only a troll if the intention of their actions is to elicit an angry or upset response. This is very rare in League of Legends games, particularly in ranked. You may disagree with me on this point, but I think this is due to a misconception. Trolls are a misconceived problem.

Finally, I would like to point out that League of Legends is a free game. You didn't pay money for the service Riot Games is providing, so if you're unhappy, there is no reason you can't leave.

But that isn't what I want League of Legends to come to... So what is my recommendation? Well... Just chill out and have fun with the game. It's normal to feel frustrated with your progress; but remember that the game was designed to be enjoyed. You might even find that you're more successful with a relaxed mindset.

EDIT: Edited for clarity of conveyed meaning.
