Can I post this here? Received a 14 day ban on 9/10/14... just got another one today (10/30/14)
I'll try to keep this as brief as possible. Posting here in addition to writing a ticket in hopes of this being seen sooner.
I was banned for 14 days back on 9/10/14 - I have no issues with this as I was toxic (mostly in ranked games) and I'm doing my best to act my age and focus only on my own game play now.
I get home just earlier from work and see an email from Riot indicating that I have been banned again for 14 days. I believe that this is in error. I've played around 50 games since my previous ban, and at most 5 of them were ranked (and I said nothing). The rest were all normals, ARAMS, and Hexakills with friends, and I barely typed a word (most communication was done on teamspeak).
There is absolutely no way that I could have received another 14 day ban for any actions between 9/10/14 and today. The only logic I can see in this ban is that it comes from backed up reports prior to my first ban, and if that's the case, doesn't the first 14 day ban absolve me of prior reports?
I know this means nothing, but what adds to my frustration is the fact that I've probably spent close to $1,000 over the course of LoL's history, and I spent another $30 on RP inbetween these two bans... feels like I'm just flushing money down the drain.
I'm hoping that a Riot employee (maybe Lyte) can shed some light on this issue, whether this is an error, or if the system is banning me again for things prior to the 9/10/14 ban.
Thanks for reading.
UPDATE: Riot support replied with the same automated response I received when I asked about the first ban back on 9/10/14. I replied a second time asking them yet again to see the chat logs. If history is any indication, I expect to see the logs 2 days before the ban is over.
