Everyones complaining about no Solo que!

I don't even play ranked.

I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't been having an issue with dynamic queue, at least on these boards. Or maybe that's because only the people who want to bitch and whine use the boards, making the new system seem very disliked.

The issue isn't the queue itself, but the complaints are about: 1.boosting. It's a serious issue. It lowers player quality since you end up with really bad players in high ELO games where they don't belong. And they get there because they keep winning games by getting carried by their dynamic queue partners.

2.rank!=skill. For a lot of players, ranked is a reflection of their skill, their time investment and their efforts. This is no longer the case. The current system, like I've stated in the first point allows low rank players to get ranks they don't deserve. And this is a big deal as well. A lot of players pride themselves for climbing to gold, plat, diamond on their own. And it's completely undermined by that guy who got some diamond level player(s) to carry them to those milestones.

3.pre-mades ruining games. If you have a 4 man pre-made, if they decide to call a surrender vote, guess what? You lose that game!. And there is nothing you can do about it. Even if you're carrying super hard. And it sucks. It also sucks because the player quality you are matched against is higher when groups are involved. So instead of everyone being on an even playing field, you get this awful imbalance, because the matchmaking assumes that the pre-made have an advantage. I don't have any statistics, but I bet a fair share of players used to do ranked only just to avoid pre-mades and the imbalances/toxicity caused by them. Of course they can no longer do that with the new dynamic queue allowing up to 5 man premades in ranked.

Personally, I don't care massively for Dynamic queue, I'm a non-competitive casual (although I have been trying out ranked since it seems to not put platinum+ border level players in my normals). I like blind pick because I get to see new champions doing fun things (one of the things I really dislike about the draft is cool new champs like aurelion sol getting banned, and I think it's lame to do that). But I even I can see the flaws in this new queue system.
