Although I've only been in one meaningful relationship in my life thus far (2 years), yeah, I know the pain you're in. For months, I was sad, but I was always able to get my mind off of it with League. Of course, masking it never completely took away the pain and sadness would return that night; or if not that night, the next night, or the next week. I think I could legitimately say that I was depressed for the better part of half a year.
The realization that it's time for both of you to move on is both difficult to accept, yet necessary for beginning to feel better. Personally, it took me a little over six months to no longer long for the past. Sure, we had good times, but we all have to move forward; my friends, new and old, helped me reach this point and while I can't say I've never been happier, I can say that I'm doing a hell of a lot better than I was last year.
If you'd like someone to talk to, I'm always on Discord (unless I'm sleeping or in class) and sometimes on the client. It gets better, and I hope that you feel better soon.

My input may o rmay not be of any use, but at 42 I've been in your shoes quite a few times. I wear my heart on my sleeve, so to speak. I know it hurts, but that's for a reason. Reflect on the relationship and what may have caused it to end. Maybe something you did, maybe something she did...maybe neither of you did anything to end it and it just ran its course. Everything happens for a reason, and if you take the time to reflect on it and learn from it, you'll be a better boyfriend to the next lucky girl to meet you.

Just know that whatever you experienced with her, their is a big chance that there is someone out their that can make you feel the same way and possibly more... at the same time loving you uncondition and probably just as heart broken as you if your lucky (cause that give you both something to break the ice with :P) you just have to find that person man, stay around people who make you feel good till then and be selective who you all in your love too.... Because as bias as it may sound, a lot of women are really fickle and unsure about what they really want even when sometimes what they want the most is standing right infront them... they also like to play mind games without some of them even acknowledging it >.>

Ouch dude. I know the feels. I was engaged once and when it ended I'm pretty sure I went crazy for a while. Actually I'm still crazy... but I learned that I'm a pretty awesome dude. But this isn't about me. All I can say is learn to love yourself and the rest will come.
