So, i read a thread about someone getting unjustly punished

I would give you a link, but the thread got deleted it.

This case interested me for a few reasons.

Last time I saw the thread, the community had downvoted it to around -10. This person was supposedly unsuspended. The community downvoted a thread with an unjust punishment. I think Riot should take a serious "talky time" and discuss if this forum voting system is worthwhile.

Another thing that interested me, was that a Rioter posted in that thread. What the Rioter said was interesting. (Paraphrasing) "You were banned because your premade group said bad things." Notice, the person in question didn't say bad things, the people they were grouped with were saying bad things. I don't know how many times Riot has told us "we are responsible for our own actions". Apparently, we are responsible for our friends actions too. No chat log was offered by Riot. The person in question gave Riot permission to post their chat logs.

Another issue I had with the case was that after being unsuspended the persons honor level still took a hit. I don't get it. They were unsuspended but still being dishonorable? Why unsuspend them if they were dishonorable? I think the system just has some unforeseen issues.

The last thing that intrigued me about that case was that it was deleted after the suspension was reversed. I'm a little on the fence here. On one side, the community damned that person without knowing facts. I can imagine not wanting to further expose that person.

On the other side, it was a confirmed false positive. Riot should be making a public apology not covering up the evidence. I also find it sketchy in the sense, it is data manipulation. Anyone that looked for false positives would find nothing because it was deleted. Makes the punishment system look amazing if no one can see the false positives.

Oh? I can check this supposed thread that was removed if you give more information so that I can find it, but I don't think it ever existed in the way you describe it.

Edit: Pretty sure I found the one you're talking about, and the user deleted it, not us. You're claiming it was proven false, but that didn't happen, and your paraphrase is intentionally not what was said ;3

Basically every I got banned post has missing parts to make riot look bad while making them look good
