Went 7-3 in placements and I got Bronze 4??

I went 7-3 in placements. I had above a 3.5 KDA throughout, and of the 3 games I lost, 2 of them I performed well and one of them I was having issues with my monitor freezing, and was absent 6 of the first 10 minutes. I do not understand. Last year, my first year of ranked play, I went 4-6 in placements and was placed in Bronze 3. I could not get out of bronze. I have since changed my play, improving mechanics, communication, farming, and itemization. I do not rage, and I encourage my teammates. I play drastically better than last season, and I know I am not a bronze level player. (Over the past 20 overall games, I have a 3.8 KDA, 48% kill contribution, average over 200 farm). Can someone please explain to me why I got placed so low? I cannot for the life of me handle bronze another season. If you wish to view my stats, my summoner name is ArgentusXI. It's based slightly on where you finsiehd last season, and the people's estimated mmr that you played against and lost to. Also the order in which you won or lost your games goes into where you are placed. The first game is the most important.

The sad truth is once you've hit Bronze, unless you consistently draw non-troll teammates, you're going to have a difficult time ever putting enough distance between yourself and Bronze that you won't fall back there again in future seasons.

It's especially infuriating if you can't play very often - then those afk/troll types really ruin the entire game.
