Blue side/Red side

Anybody else struggle on red side? I don't know what it is. I can do well sometimes on red side, but other times I feel like I am at a disadvantage. All it would take is for the camera to be shifted to be the same on both sides and I feel like I would do so much better red side. It is almost as if on red side I lose focus with my camera, on blue side I can see ahead of me much further etc. I am just wondering if I am the only one who struggles at times and if anyone has some tips or pointers for me? The main struggle is vision, I feel like I can not see ahead of me only behind of me. Or is that actually an advantage? Is red side suppose to be really good for ganking from the enemy teams jungle? If I am not making sense just say so, just want to hear other peoples thoughts.
