BOT farming accounts?

I went into a 3v3 in the twisted treeline today, and things were a little... off. weird. i was trying to communicate with my other two team members but they didn't respond. When the game loaded in, they both bought the same item and stayed awkwardly close together as they went bot lane. they completely ignored the other team's yasuo, and when they were actually into a fight all they did was basic attack. the funny thing is, there were two more champs that displayed this exact same behavior on the other team. Me and the yasuo had a conversation about why their lights were on but nobody was home, and ended up reporting them. I have encountered this before playing aram about a year back, where everyone in the lobby behaved weirdly and moved around in small clusters basic attacking each other. i would like for someone else to look into this, because i am very certain that this is some sort of exploit, and it has ruined a handful of my games. i will not post the match history until i am contacted by a riot member because i dont know if this is considered name shaming.

IP farming bots are a huge problem, apparently especially in 3v3 and ARAM, but they appear in other modes too at low ELO/MMR levels.

The only good news is that eventually your MMR will rise to a level where bots will become increasingly rare and finally disappear altogether (which is why many players have never even encountered the bots and don't understand what newer/lower level players are complaining about).

You can report them as feeding or not communicating, but that doesn't seem to make a difference. Like I said, all you can really do is keep playing until your MMR is high enough that all those bots are playing a level far enough beneath yours that you won't get matched with them anymore.
