Title? seems all these junglers now days aren't throwing in a gank at all pre 7 mins maybe 1 gank. You have to help the lanes not farm till 6 all game ! I know the jungle got changed but no need to go all brain dead on us laners
Ganks are nice to have, but it's high time not only for laners to learn how to win a difficult matchup on their own, but it's time for Riot to start balancing around this idea.
Try jungling this season. Then ask again if you really feel the need.
Because Devourer is OP?
Why help lanes when they can just farm up their super Feral Flare and win the game by themselves?
I'll gank for you. 
I actually feel bad for junglers. I try to state my case like 'It's 1v2, I'm playing under my tower, but I'm not going to be able to do anything until you can help me', but they really do get all three lanes yelling in their ear unless the laners are stomping their opponents.
I'd really like to learn jungle but I just don't want to deal with the people quite yet.
I just always play like I have no jungler, so when I get a gank, it's a pleasant surprise. :D
Main reason is because I don't want to adopt the "I'm going to push like a madman and blame my jungler when I die" mentality.
junglers only gank when they're on the other team from my experience.
