In 2013 Ao Shin's teaser was shown, it is fall of 2015 and we still haven't seen anything about Ao Shin, Rioters, is he ever going to be released or was he scrapped in 2013?
Rioters have repeatedly mentioned what's happened with Ao Shin.
They showed a concept art they were excited about at the time, but they didn't have a kit and they didn't have the tech to animate the champion. They put it on hold. The last update on Ao Shin (earlier this year) was that he still doesn't have a kit, and that there's a good chance his name won't even be "Ao Shin" when he is released sometime in 2016.
Apparently they have delayed him till early 2016, but I'm sure he'll be further delayed to late 2016/early 2017 then eventually cancelled.
