Random thing I noticed

So I recently got the SKT T1 Kalista skin from a chest, and the main thing that it appears everything notices first about the splash art for that skin is the fingers. It was the first thing I saw myself during a load screen as well as many people commenting on it the first couple minutes in game. Now my first thoughts were something just doesn't look right here. I almost felt as though her fingernails should've been painted. However, upon zooming in to the champion in game with the skin on she actually does have blue fingernails. So I'm just curious now, is this an error in the splash art, or is it intended to be this way?
