When you get a penta you don't really get much except for feeling great and the announcer saying PENTA KILL.Maybe getting extra IP or LP in matches or at least something else because getting a penta isn't that easy and you don't see them that often.Getting extra IP wound be bad even if people try to start hunting penta's by playing stuff like Master Yi or Katarina etc. a little bit of extra IP wouldn't hurt right?
It's a bragging rights reward, dude.
Giving game rewards for it wouldn't be fair, especially to roles that don't need kills (and would actually be detrimental to the team if they did so!). CC tanks and supports that help their carries get kills wouldn't likely benefit, and that's not fair for them because most of the time a pentakill is not a 1v5 (especially if you are the adc and your support got you fed early game, where's their credit?).
I'd rather have things like "Penta-assist!" because while silly, that's a whole lot more fair.
that would be fine, if it wasn't for one little detail... this game is already full of... special people, let's say, who go crazy when they can't get every kill of the match, and if one f their teammates get one kill on one target they just go full-rage mode, thus deteriorating other people's gaming experience. As such, i would rather avoid giving them another incentive to get all the kills themselves.

Don't really need to be bitched at for stealing a multikill. Right now it's just bragging rights and doesn't cause any problems. You will get flamed and harassed for it even if it was an accident or was unavoidable if you get something out of it.
