Xerath's Rework

Xerath

I've played Xerath for some games with the rework and I think the rework might have been a little bit over done. I mean now he is really easy to play (big range with no root on Q, auto stun on E, slow on W, auto root and OP range on R) you don't have to do any concession while playing it like you had with the root on W. Now it only slows you down a little bit and you have a 2 second stun on E.

My suggestion would be to make him slower while charging the Q (maybe like Varus?), keep the W (I quite like it) but change the mechanics on E so it does the same damage but puts the debuf (as before) on the enemy and you have to proc it with an other spell.

What do you think?

He is slower while using Q for one thing, at least he is with the current version of the rework. The E skillshot is pretty slow traveling and has a limited range that makes it easy to dodge if you have good positioning or solid game sense. Changing the E back to the old one is a terrible idea, the new form makes it a viable first pick if your team is doing an invade or you are in a heavy harass lane where you need the CC early to stay alive. As far as easy to use, the majority of champions in the game are easy to use, and you can be effective with most just by facerolling repeatedly, hell, you can steamroll a game as Jinx or Tristana just by autoattacking and not even using skills if your team has good peel.
