I think riot should look into making a deep and challenging offline league of legends trainer. Basically play Bots with harder ai. It would be great for those who love the game but don't have a constant internet connection.

They likely won't do anything like this, even if it might be kinda neat to see. Part of the draw of the always-online format is that the bulk of the code and resources are kept server side. That's the reason that you don't see any mods that deal with actual gameplay mechanics. You can import custom skins for the launcher, maps, or champions, sure. But actually modding things related to gameplay isn't possible right now. I'm talking things like changing actual damage values or cooldowns for abilities, or modifying item stats.

If they placed all those resources on the client side, as would be required for offline play, the door would open up to allow people to mod such things.

Beyond that, League is focused around being a competitive team game. The amount of resources that would be needed just to set this up for offline play wouldn't make sense, because it actually moves away from the intent of the game.
