Hello Art Rioters of Riot!

I am a student currently working towards an education in Game Art and Design and after checking out the requirements of being a character artist at the riotgames.com site. I had some questions about the typical work flow that you all go through to provide awesome content.

According to the description on the website. You all go from using Photoshop to using 3D modelling programs. When using photoshop, what are you all using it for in regards to Character art? When you move to 3D I noticed that the requirements calls for knowledge of Maya, Zbrush, and Mudbox. Do you all use 3DSMax at all? What are you all using Zbrush for? I know you can get some really high quality sculps from that as I have just started my first set of classes learning it, but it seems like a lot for in game models. I don't know too much about Mudbox yet, but from what I have seen it looks really similar to Zbrush. How does it fit into the workflow?

Could you all give me an idea of what it is like to work on a project in Character Art from when it comes to your department to when it leaves?

tl:dr Teach me, teach me to understand working at character art.
