AFK, what have been done?

Once more I lost a game because someone went AFK. It has happened often all the evening and it triggered the idea to ask, from the millions of games we all have played if any one of you have ever seen, heard or read about something that happened to people that repeatedly went AFK? I am not talking about high-end games, where no one ever goes AFK, I am asking about the people that play normal games, like me. I don’t see an easy way to deal with this kind of behaviour on electronic sports, in real life games we could just choose not to play with a person that we don’t like, but in an electronic game I don’t even know who the person playing is.
