Somone Explain this Please

I started a ranked game and I'm in my promos! Won the first one and this was my second game. We get in everyone is nice were all bsing and talking, Great start to a ranked game right? Well I get into my loading screen and my little curse voice thing pops up so I can go look at lolnexus and see what's on my team/enemy team yadda yadda...Well come to find out I have an Annie on my team THAT ISNT EVEN RANKED. I didn't say anything because lord knows that would throw the whole game on tilt. But I also looked and there is a gold Zed on the other team...fighting her middle.

All I want is an explanation on how something like this happens. How do I get an Annie that isn't even ranked but on the other team they get a gold zed in the middle of a Silver game.

Please Riot Please.

... Because the Annie is in her Placement matches, and it's trying to figure out where they belong.

Honestly, you'll do yourself a lot of good by avoiding "who are my teammates and how good are they" sites before the game. They just work you up too much.
