DrCyanide1 votesWell, there can only be an even or odd number of stairs, right? So the options available should have some pattern depending on that.
I recommend you write out all the possibilities for 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 stairs. I bet the pattern will show by then.

sean12121 votesyeah i didn't know what that was but it looks like it has a fibonacci sequence quality. The problem I don't know is if we do "n" steps, how to derive some sort of formula for that. n=1 - n=6 are trivial cases but idk im 2 dumb for this crap
going with a step, you have n-1 steps left, and with a hop, n-2 steps left. whats next..
