Wow.. this game community and reporting system is just bad

So apparently, if you stand up for yourself in game against a player that has friends or that /all chats the enemy team into reporting you, you get a suspension....not a chat restriction....a suspension. Generally, there are 5-6 players at least every game that spam all chat or team chat with vulgar and offensive language all game. These players typically taunt/dance behind towers or just flat out intentionally feed and report people on a whim. Then there's the restriction system...which is obviously is automated b/c of this completely dumb and random suspension...so basically I could just make a new account and queue with 4 friends and just penta-report every team we play against and get random people random restrictions.

So yeah...This game is just bad.

It's almost like in 2015 when Tencent acquired it completely from Riot...the community started being even trashier than before.

Coincidence?

**Post was deleted so here's the rest of my thoughts:

I was also refuting with some mixed retaliation, but, like I said, this guy was in the last game too being a jerk. Hm..now that I think about it, he could have reported both times.

And I mean...I can mute all I want but he can still /all chat the enemy team and say I'm BM'ing and cause multiple reports? And I very highly doubt that considering how many friends that play this game are also restricted or temp-banned.

It's also funny how many players are blatently sexist and racist....there is no functionality to block IP's, just summoners. So...these players just make a million accounts and keep the community awful.

It's just bad and it's been on a downhill spiral when it became all about money IMO so I'm just over it. Twas fun for a while. No longer.

Ty for your comments, take care.

I understand the compulsion to "defend" yourself or another person who is being harassed in chat, but you aren't helping the situation by getting toxic back at them, you tend to make it much worse instead.

A troll giving you trouble wants a reaction from you; if you don't give it to them they tend to get bored. However, to more immediately remedy the situation you simply mute them. Muting and ignoring these people is how you defend yourself, but by retaliating you give them what they want and you also become a nuisance to the other players that have to listen to it.

Report harassment at the end of the match and let Riot take care of it. Those people usually care a lot more about losing account privileges than what a stranger they are baiting has to say, so you're not really sticking up for yourself unless you Mute and file a report.

As for receiving an account ban, you only get escalated up multiple tiers for severe offenses; for chat this is usually the repeated use of hate speech or making threats. Regardless of why you choose to act that way is irrelevant, there is no tolerance for that sort of behavior. Don't stoop to their level, just mute and report so you can focus on the match.

If you're worried about their reports if you don't convince people to not report you, don't worry about those either. False reports will not hurt you and reports do not stack, so they can lie all they want about what you did, it only makes reports against them stick.

Hey there friend , When you "defend" yourself , all your doing is becoming what you hate. You become just as bad as them. I highly recommend muting them and reporting them after game.
