I won 7 games and lost 3 (two of wich we had trolls), and I am placed into bronze 5

This rank system is the biggest joke ever, thought I would share. How could some one play over 1000 games and be considered bronze 5?

You finished bronze 3 last season, that's why. Resets set you down lower than your previous rank in most cases, so you have something to work up and climb.

What you finished last season shouldn't matter. New season new MMR. If you've never had to try to solo climb your way out of bronze you wouldn't understand. And for those who claimed you did it really only comes down to luck and RNG. Either you get lucky and get people on team whom know how to play or you get trolls and feeders. There is zero middle ground

Would you rather have everyone start at zero? A system where challenger players could be matched up against bronze players? I mean then it would be equality across the board. But you would chalk that up to Luck and RNG then, not that they're frankly better than you. Let's take this a step further as a hypothetical: If this scenario existed and you happened to have RNG on your side. Pairing up with teammate's D+ and you quickly climb. Lets even go as far as Plat. What happens then to you as a player when all of the sudden it's you at a plat 5 (RNG based elo) facing actual plat 5's? If your skill was/is that of bronze player and you happened to get boosted that far on luck you're going to be in for a rough realization. You'll all of the sudden be that weak link and slowly drop right back down to where your elo should be at.

I started this game out like any other person in this game, from the bottom. And worked my way up ever since season 1.

Well none of my friends play anymore or if they do they just play aram. Most have quit because of trolls and other various reasons most having to do with the BS riot has done or pulled.

I am by far better than most people I get placed with in solo. You have nothing to base that off. What you said is just a double standard. Go ask any pro player or someone big in the league community like big streamers for example and they will all tell you the same thing. That the game isn't what it used to be, that ranked is a complete mess and most will also say the game isn't fun anymore.

Truth is based on a point of view so in a sense so is fact. I know people who actually think Jesus could turn water to wine or walk on water because it is written in some book. To them that is fact because that is what they believe and no one will ever change their beliefs. Yet anyone with an IQ over potato knows it is a load of horse@#$%. See the point?

If you were "by far better" than the people you get paired with, then you'd win your games and climb.

I'm a high gold player, I placed low silver and right now these are my current stats:

Yeah, I've been doing pretty shitty in the past couple games, but that's because the people I'm paired with are last season plat and gold anyways. The true silver/bronze players I've been getting, though, have been a complete stomps for me and my team.

You're also using religion, a belief-based system, as an analogy for factual based evidence. Any one with an IQ over a potato wouldn't dismiss as well as agree with the Bible in it's entirety. The Bible has lots of factual evidence in there but you glanced over a small section pointing out "Jesus" and him turning water to wine. The Bible has a lot to do with God and Jesus, but it's funny because most of it is parables and the tales of "Children of God" and their journey through hardships. So don't bring the Bible into this as that analogy, in itself, is a fallacy.

So no, I don't see your point.

I was using it as an example. I'm pretty sure I'd more than give you a run for your money. I was playing custom matches during preseason with some streamer and her friends, all of whom were high gold and I was shitting on them every game.

Don't think because you were gold that makes you better than someone who is currently bronze. Bottom line is solo queue isn't about skill or at least not just about skill. It is about being lucky with the randoms you get placed with and RNG, nothing more.

You can continue to argue your point til you're blue in the face all you like but you're wasting your time because nothing you've said or will say is going to make me change my mind or believe anything different.

I know moba's I was playing dota when it first came out as a mod for warcraft 3 so like maybe 12 years ago give or take, played semi pro. And lets be honest dota has a WAY higher skill cap than league. Only thing the same is shitty mmr and rng.

Lol, you're funny if you think that I think that Golds are any better than Bronze/Silver. They're less cringe worthy, but doesn't make them any better. Gold is the bare average between being good and bad -- meaning there are just as man bad players in gold as there are good. I'm with the majority of people where I stand with rank not meaning much, yet at the same time it's not particularly useless.

Example: What separates a Challenger player from a Plat player? You'd think it'd be mechanics or game knowledge, right? Yeah, it is. To an extent. In the broader aspect of things, no, it really isn't. The difference is all the little things in between. The knowledge of every champs damage output, the ins and outs of certain champs and how to abuse them or play against them.

It's all the little nuances in between that separates Challengers from Plats. It wouldn't be weird at all for some random Plat player to beat a Challenger player. I've beaten a Challenger player in lane before -- maybe he was just testing out his role, though? Did I win the game? Nah, he out roamed me/had better decision making and had way more experience and knowledge come mid/late game.

But, I've also had a game where I've won against a Challenger player. Maybe I was just in the zone that game. But, why is he challenger and I'm not? Obviously, it's consistency, which is another key aspect that separates the best from the good. Yeah, we could go on for days and I could turn blue doing so. However, you can't help the willfully ignorant people.

new season doesnt mean new mmr, your division and everything is reset but your mmr stays the same its a soft reset its been that way forever. Been seeing these complaints since I started in season 3

the fact remains, if riot wanted to clean the trolls, they could. The trolls bring them so much $, they over look them, while they ban 100000 played sing! The whole reason he got banned was because the trolls wanted him banned. They are control freaks, and they make riot tons of $ for trolling, not so much they over look it, but they secretly condone it through their lack of actions.

I just play it to waste time, but they will no longer get a dime from me, because they and what they represent is a lie to fuel their staff and twitch following. (meaning its all rigged and scripted through control freaks, rather talent)

you know, if i did play diamond and plat players, I would get better than I am now. I know you only get better playing against people better than you; however, if your always playing with trolls, you will never get better, only the same. That goes with every sport!

How many champions do you have with Mastery levels?

Compare yourself to someone who you think is Platinum or Diamond? Do you think you have the same statistic's as them?

Have to remember this is a new system for a new season, There are new stuff in place. good or bad, gotta work harder now for your rewards.

its a stacked deck, and try hard does not matter against a stacked deck.

integrity means a lot to me, but integrity of character, not the integrity of the masses (trolls approval)

its like how the NBA is now, compared to how it used to be, so many trolls everywhere that bleed the talent out of people because some 1 else has more friends, its sad.

Over 1000 games last season and bronze 3. You cant use that excuse that its your teammates fault and not yours after 1000 friggin games. If you honestly are as good as you say you are, it wouldnt take you that many games to climb out. Just admit that you are bad at this game and focus on improving yourself and not others.

The whole fact that the #'s have been taking out of armor pen, was to complicate the game more, so trolls like your self, could generalize and belittle those that actually try.
