Able to send a short message to someone who we want to add

That is what I'm pretty sure I will see pretty often. So I don't think this should happen.

Something like "Yo I was your awesome top laner last game, add me!"

50 characters. 100 would be enough, very little data required. Relatively easy (GUI people help me out?) to code in. I like the idea.

Oh yes!!! Or things like "Yoooo www.cheap-eloboost.xyz 5$ SPECIAL OFFER YOOO"

Yes I like this, funny enough I just thought of this, because I saw someone whom I think I know that went to my old school but I have no way of knowing, so I would love this.

BUT there may be ways around it like you have to solve a captcha to send the message. would filter out a lot of spam

Guys don't get this so wrong.... this is supposed to be just a shortest message like on gifting after game ....

something like: "I think I maybe know you." "I want to ask you something." "1v1 omg n00b I'll rekt you hard" xD

I got this idea because I saw someone in chat room who invited me on normal when it was IP boost ,and he is nearly same as my friend whom I had long time ago, then I went into another account and wanted to add him to ask him if "..." is his acc, because we were friends before and maybe he created another account and started playing at it instead of old one which I has as friend.

no.. i have had enough problems with people trying to do friend invites just to cuss me out.
i mean its obvious and expected so sometimes i prep a message just to friend copy paste and block the people.. but all in all...
this is a bad idea.

Tries to send report about person, accidentally sends invite with report message "This b#$@| fed like a mother#$&%$# and cost me my promos, rito pls ban him" Hit's OK...few seconds later....."sh*t"

It would be cool. If it was possible to somehow not let links be sent, to reduce spam. But I for sure would love to be able to send messages when requesting friends.
