could i be banned for being bad at a champion but wanting to practice?

Hey Riot, i have a question you see i like to play yasuo but im not very good with him if i get countered in lane and end up feeding could i get banned for it? for instance well first let me explain why i do this its mostly because i cant practice in bots because it doesnt give the same challenge as pvp a real person is gonna act different than a bot so it only makes sence to practice in pvp but im afraid of getting banned for accidentally feeding but im not sure if i should keep practicing or just give up? thank you for your time, sincerely kitsune.

No, you only get banned it you are purposely feeding the enemy. As long as you are trying it doesn't matter how bad you do. And yeah, you have to practice Yasuo against real players. Playing him against bots teaches you virtually nothing.

Honestly the sad fact of this matter is yes, you probably will get some kind of chat restriction because the playerbase is vindictive when they lose. They really think that the report button is a shoulder for them to cry on and somehow it makes them feel better about losing to report people. And despite the fact that Riot says they monitor the system, it's been proven time and time again that they don't and getting reported enough times will get you a chat restriction.

start in bots (if you do not have a good concept of what the champ does) then team builder, then draft, then ranked

Feeding is not an actual offense, its doing poorly. It is often confused with intentional feeding, which as the name implies requires you to be trying to die.

I hate when people dont understand that if you're not good at a champ, you NEED to practice in normals or some kind of PvP. You dont just suddenly 'get gud' at playing a champ you want to learn how to play. Completely asinine.

That being said, make sure you say you're still learning. Generally people will understand. But they might think you're just bad if you dont tell them you need practice.

If you take him into normal games it's perfectly fine.

If you start feeding, then of course your team will most likely get frustrated, but that's the way it goes with learning new champs.

Now, if you take him first time into ranked or without getting proper knowledge of how he works and a good amount of practice in with him... Those are grounds to be reported.

No, you might get reported for unskilled, which isn't a bannable offense. As for the int feeding report. It's usally easy to tell if the person is feeding on purpose or just doing bad.

no trust me I fed really bad when I first learned Yasuo (hes one of my best champs now :P) and im still here... you might get flamed but as long as you dont break the "summoners code" you will be fine.... but that being said if you just keep running into lane and dying with no care of playing safe and are 0/10/0 at 10 minutes then you might run into trouble
