Victorious Skin(s) And its future progression..! (True Community input Appreciated!!)

I'd like to go into a possible option of, rather than producing another skin this year, making it an option to "purchase" a victorious skin with a form of currency.

Similar to hextech crafting, this reward gives you one "Gold" coin. This coin would never expire and could be used whenever. I use the word gold in quotes because I've not created a name for the word yet but what it does is quite simple: The victorious skins will be shown in the shop. Of course, however, it can only be purchased with that particular currency. That way, what it does provide is the option to choose between the 6, possible 7, skins as long as your account is Gold+. As it always grants the option of being sure if they want to purchase it, what it would not allow is for the system to be able to redo said purchase if you have any rerolls on your account. (Downside to it!!(Be sure you selected the proper Victorious skin))

I'd really appreciate a solid response on the new take of it as I've only played league for a year and I do know particular skins such as Championship Riven being reintroduced stirred a bit of negativity and spite or even Black Alistar being presented to the PH server a month or so ago or even the Victorious Skins lineup have eluded a majority of the newer player base. Maybe we could work on bringing those out of the vault? If we could do that, maybe we could even get Young Ryze or Urf Warwick?! All around possible incentives so definitely get back to this one, please!
