I had a rager in my game that said something that I agree with actually on LAN server

"I'm switching back to NA server, the skill difference isn't worth the 50 ping I get, these trash players every game that are 800+ mmr under me are being my first pick and throwing games at champ select with their trolling and it just gets soooo old... And I get called a gringo almost every game and racist remarks and insults about being overweight and just i can't take it anymore"

Don't get why these spanish players are such complete twats to our usa east transfering players when its mostly riots fault for not providing service to their over half of the fucking NA server.

I mean its like 60% of the playerbase maybe even more.

Most people who live in NA live in east. So wtf. 6 years no server? And then you tell them "fuck off go to LAN" and what do they get after spending 20 dollars to transfer? RACISM???? HARASSMENT???? seriously riot what the fuck. I'm upset and its not even me thats having these issues that often.

This would all be solved with a USA east server, I'd love to have one I might even get decent ping cause in LAN i get 60 and even thats high compared to these 10-40 pingers covering diamond+ elo.

I get like 30 ping on lan, if that when I go there. Its sad, but you have to just play it out and mute your team. In fact, its probably best that you don't speak spanish cause that makes it so much worse when you can understand what they say. I've heard that once you get high ranking (gold+) you'll start getting more of the east coast NA folk. But yeah. On LAN there's no, "I won't mute it for team communication." Cause chat isn't used for team communication. Its used for 1) trolling or 2) insulting. Do your best. Mute the rest. That's my policy.

Edit: I also didn't transfer, because I like NA, even though I have 95 ping. (used to be 120+ when I had poor internet)

I was d3 start of season but because of all these raging LANers I personally just tilt too often. Was 2.4kmmr on that server. Now I'm like 1.7kmmr Because these mexicans harass my usa east allies with racism. It's like almost every game honestly. if you see someone speaking english fluently it's jut gringo gringo blah blah blah racism blah.

gets so old. I don't even get it directed at me because I don't type in game unless its a timer fior enemy flash etc.

Not to mention theres alot of unranked/silvers/golds in plat/low diamond on that server because elo boosting is disgustingly rampant.

And the skill difference between other servers I play on is huge lol Like plat in NA is mid-high damage there its kind of retarded how big of a skill difference there is. Challenger I assume is the only place where is kind of ok.

you're full of shit i never saw racism on NA towards anyone that wasn't from NA and I played in closed beta. Don't give me that bullshit like two wrongs make a right or something.

There is no karma, there's only 2 racist fucks and someone with hurt feelings. So don't give me that bullshit like its ok because someone did it that justifies someone else getting hurt.

And by the way, Riot is fixing the East Coast problem it just takes a while since they need approval from companies and permits.

it wasn't me getting harassed it was an enemy on the other team in post game lobby. I did get harassed for awhile when I first joined though. Made a few challenger friends on that server and most people left me alone after awhile.

I'm mostly upset with how the mentality of 2 wrongs makes a right is allowed and the fact that the skill difference is because NA players that are better than most LANers are coming over now. We shouldn't have to come over. NA server should be in the middle of fucking america lol.

Idgaf about their pros. Their pros don't pay their bills. never have never will. We the people, the players, pay their bills. Riot seems to forget that they're biting the hand that feeds them when they refuse to give this side of the USA proper acknowledgement for 6 years dude. And NO they are not fixing our shit.

All they're doing is making it so they finally stop giving NA players packetloss which should've been done years ago.

Fixing mistakes doesn't mean they're improving anything. east coast players will still get 60-200 ping (depending on how far ofc) while west coast sits at a nice 5-40 ping.

It's completely one sided. The server should be located where the majority of their playerbase is. That is the end of the discussion.

Its why i even own an LAN account. I'm in michigan. In season 1-2 i was getting arond 63-80 ping on NA... And then in season 3-5 (2012-2015 basically) I was getting 90-200 ping on a daily basis and sometimes even 300-1,000 because of their packet loss and overall ping lag for anyone that didnt live up the servers ass basically.

only until recently has riot begun finally "improving", as they call it, the issue with packet loss and overall ping spiking. I still get 70-90 ping on a regular basis. And half the time the 70 ping feels like im playing on 100-130 (I play on EUW so i know exactly what 120~ ping feels like to play on) So the packet loss is still a rampant issue for a lot of east coasters.

Don't believe that them fixing their mistakes is going to suddenly drop your ping to 20-50 so you can actually compete with west coasters because thats not what they're doing. They're just trying to reduce ping spiking/packet loss.

Have you tried changing ISP? I live on west coast but whenever I play at my aunts house who has a different ISP then mine I get extremely high ping.

You do realize that several of the Eastern US ISP companies are deliberately driving the ping of LoL connections up. They have been hoping that Riot would pay them what amounts to blackmail money in order to improve the connection for people connecting from their territories. Riot has wisely not paid, but just adding new servers won't fix the problem. The problem is that the ISP companies are deliberately not giving LoL connections priority across their servers.

The problem with the LAN/S servers is the number of players. They are small therefore you get matched with whomever is closest to your MMR even if it a diamond team Vs silver.

you have seen NOTHING! Season 2 racism on NA server was disgusting. there was no Lan Servers so you'd get queued with a lot of latin american players. The racism directed towards them was way more than what i have ever experienced on LAN

What's funny is that it was the same when someone speaking spanish was caught here in NA.

I suppose it's less common nowadays because most people who don't speak english moved to other servers, which in turn makes you the minority when you go to play in LAN and can't speak spanish, and thus, a target for racism.

Not saying it's okay, but that's how people behave, I guess.
