The Suffrage principle

Ok I know this is probably only a Bronze elo thing but I kinda wanna ask does anyone else invoke what I like to call the Suffrage principal on their teams... When you're doing perfectly fine in lane either breaking even or ahead of them not losing any kills for your team or anything. Meanwhile your team is getting destroyed either one lane or multiple lanes and it cones time for a surrender vote. You're still doing alright in your lane but the others are still having trouble.

Invoking the suffrage principal means the act of intentionally denying a surrender vote in a game to "make your team suffer for them being bad and losing the game that you were otherwise winning from your point of view with respect to your own lane." or in simpler terms "I'm not surrendering because my team is trash and lost us the game.." how many people on the boards have been guilty of doing this

Its not really that I just don't like surrendering when I feel like I'm holding my lane and my allies are the ones causing us to be behind. Like if I'm in top lane and doing decently well in farm and keeping my top laner busy staling the lane out I shouldn't be the one that has to bail out the 0/10 bot lane
