I am making a stand against you, Riot

Alright. My brother, JubJubby, recently got perma-banned. He did not receive any warnings, and he also did not get an explanation as to why he got the ban. He didn't even receive a time ban beforehand. I know personally that he can be a bit on edge if his game is going badly, but I know that he does behave well for the most part. I also know that there are many assholes out there that deserve to be banned but do not receive any penalty whatsoever for intentionally ruining games. I have also noticed that there are more frustrated players BECAUSE of these trolls. I can see the heart of the problem. Why can't your blind company see it? I guess that's what we should expect from a company that doesn't listen to its clients. I doubt I will get banned for this because you don't listen. BG.

Did your brother receive an email of any sort regarding his ban? If he did, it should indicate the full duration of the ban, which might help determine what kind of ban it is - there's more than a few that are marked as "perma-bans," but aren't actually permanent. Of those, the most common is a charge-back ban.

That said, I've never heard of a false positive regarding behavioral perma-bans. It is, after all, the one sanction that is always manually reviewed by Rioters (even Tribunal perma-bans had an extra Riot review before being issued).

Hey look everyone, another "I got permabanned and didn't deserve it" thread. No, he broke the rules. Badly. A lot. Consistently. He deserved that ban. If you want to be a good brother, you should help him realize where he was going wrong instead of telling him it's ok to do and enabling his bad behavior.

What year does the ban end so to speak?

Submit a support ticket. If he isn't toxic, they will help him out. If he is, good riddance.

Listen man, I would be frustrated too, and personally I don't like Riot either, but this game is the only thing that makes me happy anymore :/ I won't go in depth but hopefully your brother will get unbanned.

Any chance he was sharing his account with someone, and that other person did something ban-worthy?

That's all I can come up with if you're absolutely positive he's not a toxic player.

Permanent bans are generally only issued for:

  1. Game integrity issues (ex: hacking, scripting, botting, DDOSing, MMR boosting)
  2. Severe behavioral issues, after several warnings.
  3. Billing or name issues -- these show as "permanent" until the issue is resolved, but will be lifted once it's taken care of.

If the banned player bought RP recently, and is not a huge raging jerk or cheater, there's about a 99% chance it's a billing issue.

Its a wonder why you're not banned. You seem toxic yourself.

My only guess of what happened is that your brother didn't tell you the whole story or he hacked/scripted.
