No Hard Candy for RP gifts?

Hey guys,

So I bought RP for a "friend". But I haven't gotten the hard candy icon yet. I was wondering if the reward is for any gift? Or is it just for buying skins as a gift?

It's for any gift, but it may take a while to get to your account.

The Sugar Rush info says;

Hextech Hard Candy Icon – Earn by sending a gift during Sugar Rush

So if you don't get it, send in a support ticket. RP gifts are still gifts, so if it's invalid it is Riots fault for incomplete and misleading information. They are nice people, so I believe they will give you your icon either way.

Hmm, that's what I thought so too. I've been waiting for about 2 days now for both my accounts. I'll send a ticket in if there's nothing once sugar rush is over; they are overwhelmed with server issues atm probably.
