I agree with you Earl Blueberry. I started playing 3 years ago and I loved this game. I still LOVE this game, I love everything about it. the community, the gameplay, mechanics, responsive devs, graphics, strategies, new maps etc.. BUT I agree with you that this game SUCKS. Every time I play, every single day, I get errors. Client crashing, games not loading, me needing to reconnect manually 2 times, attempting to reconnect when I have perfect, super high-speed internet with a top of the line computer... its unacceptable.
2 months ago, this became so unacceptable that I just stopped. I stopped living with it and taking their sorry excuse for a game. I just stopped playing literally because the game, the code itself, is GARBAGE! The game is vacuum-filtrated, purified, distilled, hot carbon gravity filtration filtered, liquid-liquid extraction, flash chromatography separated, Rotary Evaporator (RotoVap) evaporated, 99.8% pure, three times recrystallized, thermo-stabilized, vacuum-sealed AND RT kept, at 1 ATM of course, roughly 14.6959 psi, at 21.6 degrees C (roughly 70.88F or 294.75K) SHIT.
This comment MAY seem hateful, but the purpose is to actually be constructive. I am sure Riot won't see this and I just want to paint a picture for people who read this post to remember, so they may then spread the word and get something done about this.
This game IS the best game I've ever played content-wise, and again, I love it, and with some work, it may just be THE BEST game ever, pushing out any other top game, like Dota or even WoW off the ledge, but coding-wise? I bet the makers of Tetris would have done a better job.
Also, as for the leavebuster thing... here's a little situation: Me, bleeding edge, top of the line, computer, stable and Very extreme internet (way way faster then the North American average), 6 hours of free time. -Me : why not play some league? Let's see if they got their stuff together. Then: Everything patched-up and ready to go, good. After champ select --> No load screen. Great, I relog, nothing. I close league completely, relog, nothing. I reboot pc, (takes 20 seconds [fast, new pc]) open league, log in, reconnect, Good it works. NOW, at the end of the game, (there were 2 attempting to reconnect in game, what I did after checking that I had over 30 mbps internet and it was still saying attempting to reconnect, was close league, reboot pc, try again, it works (did this twice), each time took me about 30 seconds (I waited for the auto attempting to relog thing for more time than the 30 seconds it took me to reboot and reconnect, every time.) At the end of the game, everyone is happy, I was jungling diana, cool, then : SUMMONER, YOU have broken the LAW, do you accept to LEVER leave again? You must write it cause we expect you not to read and just press the button otherwise, *This is all in a weird santa voice. ALL THIS DONE IN A PRACTICE MATCH VS BOTS, 4 PEOPLE, ME VS 5 BOTS. Now, here I am, angry at coding that my grandmother could do better and she has trouble turning on the TV and thinks a GPS is an Ipad and an Ipad is a laptop. SOOOOOOOOOO Because I have to DC and even close and restart my perfectly good hardware, (Flying through TONS of other games), I get banned? (I didn't get banned yet but juging from the frequency of client crashes and game flops, (all coding or server related baloney, all I know is that its not me because my hardware is not to blame and my internet is blazing and runs other games like a hot knife through melting butter) I might get banned) I lose the money I spent on this game all these years? Really? I though Riot was kind and listened to its fans... That's the reason it got this far, by always having an ear open to the community's input. Now I guess it just wants to procrastinate by pumping out new content, champs and skins day and night instead of tackling the real problems.
RITO, before pumping out new content and champions every 2 seconds, would you mind to please look at these problems and maybe task some people to fix it? Again, I sound mad because I am but this is after MANY months of waiting for a change (and this is intended to be constructive, no matter how unwell written and angry sounding). Literally nothing happened. If anything, it got worst with the leavebuster update. Gracias, I'mma be back here next year and if this game still runs like 2 legged chiwawa running away from 4 angry mobsters in only 1 pink bikini, I I... I.. I don't even know what I'll do. I'll probably start playing online competitive minesweeper, or Chess. I hear Chess doesn't lag or crash constantly.
