RiotRepertoir not only has done a marvelous job on the Garen rework, he talked over his ideas with the players, and made adjustments that both please long time Garen players and add something new. And on top of that he is the only designer that truly seems to care and listen to the fans (I am sure others do, but it rarely feels that way). Bravo good sir, bravo.

I cried a little when I saw what he did the the Garen rework......cried tears of joy Riotrepertiot im okay with the Q silence nerf because the other buffs are amazing!

At first all they did was nerf alot of things day one, then Riotrepertior was like "sorry Idk why we did all this and not explain, so here lets revert all that and give hims ome good buffs" Like I love you, you are doing Garen jusctice.......though we still have a week left and I fear they may be something up the sleeve (either a great buff or horrible nerf)

Noone is concened with the constant excuses to remove silence from the game? I'm glad you're all happy with the garen reworks, but it's obvious silence is going the way that dodge did.

His silence is not removed, it is just shortened. This is because being caught in Judgement is far more devastating, and thus he doesn't need to keep people silenced as long.

Silence is an extremely powerful and unique form of CC, and thus should be used very sparingly. Three champions with it sound about right to me. It is like how only two champs can blind.

EDIT: There are 6 champs with silence, not 3.

Yet there are dozens of stuns/knockups in the game, which is essentially more powerful, and noone has ever had thier silence taken away from them.

Stuns/Knockups are more general forms of CC, and thus are used more often. Silence is a specialized version of CC, and is weaker in some instances but so much stronger in others.

A stun/knockup is a silence and and snare in one that interrupts spellcasting. The only thing more powerful is a suppress, because u can't use smite during it. I fail to see how a silence is more powerful than either, ever. Garen's silence is now a less dependable version of Kassidin's Q

Silence usually lasts longer than a knockup or stun. Also, I checked and there are 6 champions with Silence, not 3: Chogath Garen Blitzcrank Soraka Fiddlesticks Malzahar . Of these only 1 (Garen) applies it to a single target. The rest can potentially silence an entire team.
