COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT / CONTENT CREATION / SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN
Compensation: Unpaid Internship: Could be counted as college credit if applicable
Description Arena Online is looking for a qualified intern to join our content and community management team. Our office is located near the Woodlands area outside of Houston TX, and we are looking for an intern to join us in office 2 days a week (approximately 15 hours). This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and contribute to various aspects of community management and content creation.
Responsibilities Assist in the creation of website and platform content related to League of Legends, eSports, and company products/services Assist in the creation and/or distribution of social media content Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks Build relationships with members of the online gaming community Answer company/product related questions from users and the online community Enter contact information into contact management systems
Requirements Reliable transportation and the ability to work onsite Respond to critique and instruction in order to complete projects Understand writing for numerous mediums including social media, blogs, and forums Deep understanding and knowledge base of League of Legends and eSports Basic understanding of statistical analysis Basic understanding of website analytics and market research
We are looking for an undergraduate student in the Houston area who is majoring in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Advertising. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of Web and social media.
