That the rito merch price and the rito merch value are completely out of wack? 60 bucks for a poro?? thats like a 5 dollar stuffed animal with a rito logo

Welcome to the power of Brand Name merchandise. why else do you think generics and knock offs are so much cheaper? its not because they cost less to make or because they're under cutting (and lets be honest they are still in fact under cutting). It's because generics make the same product, for the same price, put a bland logo on it and shoot for low profits/ high sales over $90 per Kaye T-shirt.
Rito is a game company that offers brand name collectibles for diversity. not profit. In this case the cost of most of the items on sale by Rito acutally suffers from the worst of 3 sales situations and none of the two i mentioned above.
In which Rito produces a product of limited supply, and must sell high to recoup development and production cost instead of selling high due to brand name or low with high volume for consumer value. Much like the $175 hand signed collectors book they sold a few months back that only had a stock of 100.
Two years ago they came out with Urf jackets at $60 a piece and told the community that they would only have one stock for the entire event. Every jacket in every size sold out in less than 24 hours. Riot had to go back on their word and restocked once more due to demand, and they sold that out again in less than 24 hours. On the second restock Riot said they wont produce more. The second restock took 2 days, but that means they sold through three whole stock in 4 days at $60 when they orginally were only going to sell the one, and Riot refused to make more after.
Riot may like making money hand over fist, but they are a game company with only limited means for product merchandising and development. meaning the cost is high and the stock is low.
I'd buy a real one for the same price lol
