I was wondering if there was a LOL App in the app store. Where I can read the patch notes, view the boards, all lol upcoming news/events. The articles that are posted to the league main screen. Fantasy LCS That sort of thing. Just a thought. Any suggestions/comments welcome.

I don't believe they do, there are all sorts of supported guide apps though, but they are usually just on champ guides, and counters and such. You still have to get your patch notes and boards stuff on the lovely forums.
